Marinate the chicken with biryani masala, turmeric, chili powder, cumin, coriander, yogurt, and salt for at least 1 hour.

Cook the rice until 70% done and set aside.

Heat oil in a pot and sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.

Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.

Add tomatoes and green chilies. Cook for a few minutes.

Layer the partially cooked rice over the chicken mixture.

Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked and the flavors are well combined.

Garnish with fresh coriander and mint before serving.
